Today was yet another long, and exciting day! We started off the morning with a trip over to The Globe Theatre, which we walked over the Southwark Bridge after getting off the tube. It was of course a beautiful view. The theatre was awesome, and was recreated exactly how I thought the original would have looked. It was interesting to see how the theatre was constructed from oak, and hear all the little fun facts our guide had to share with us. There was also a Shakespeare exhibit which was really cool to walk around and see costumes and such.
After the exhibit we walked over the Millenium Bridge, which was absolutely gorgeous. Strait ahead you could see St. Paul's Cathedral and to the right you could see the Tower Bridge in the distance. Once we were back on the other side we hoped on the tube and went over to Earl's Court Road where we saw the Tardis and I stopped at the Post Office to mail a few postcards.
We then made our way over to Harrod's and looked around there for a while before going off to see Kenningston Palace. After seeing the palace, we went to find the Finnobourogh Theatre, which wasn't easy to find. It was at a fork in the road above a wine bar, and the theatre was not clearly labeled. After we finally found it we ate this little place called The Troubadour Cafe. After a nice leisurely dinner we went back over to the theatre where we saw The Lost Boy.
