Adelphi University Study Abroad: London 2014

Wrong Direction?

It was yet another long and exciting day...it's hard to believe we've only been here for two days. Today was better for navigating the tube system because we used it a lot. It's super easy to use, it reminds me a lot of the metro in Washington, D.C. Although we navigated the tube easily that was not so much the case when we got out of the station. We walked the wrong way multiple times today, but it's all good because we saw cute things and I found a store to get a bell for my collection.
Jess, Noelle, and I started off the day in Islington, where we went to this cute little street market and got some nice key chains to bring home. After the market we headed over to The British Museum where we met up with my roommate, Sarah. The museum was absolutely gorgeous and gigantic...we only scratched the surface of all they had to offer.
After the museum we headed towards The National Theatre where we walked across Hungerford and Golden Jubilee Bridges and ate dinner at Wagamama before going to the theatre for our backstage tour. The tour was awesome, we got to go in two of their theaters and backstage. The lady giving the tour told us all about how they switch over shows, which is quite interesting because tonight we The Light Princess, and on Saturday we will be seeing another show in the same theatre.
